release secrets, release shame

i’ve been thinking a lot about writing, openness, and other things regarding that. with each piece i write, i try to dig, come from my heart. that said, sometimes i hold back because i’m hesitant with full disclosure. it’s not that i keep secrets from everyone – i open up to someone – different ones – about everything. but putting it out in public is a little different. damn those drafts

i just noticed that i’ve published 127 posts on this blog (i’m proud of myself – i usually get bored with a blog by this time!). i also noticed i have 15 drafts. the thing is that the drafts are some of the most interesting pieces. they’re the ones that i’ve either been too, erm, lazy to finish or i’ve wondered if they’re too controversial or i’ve been to, yeah, lazy to write. that, of course, defies the point of this blog, which is to have brief, succinct blog pieces.

oh well. maybe i’ll publish those 15 someday.
