okay. the moment i’ve been dreading has arrived. stephanie is going to start talking about her eating disorder. i’m apprehensive and hope she doesn’t go into certain behaviors too much. already, i can feel myself feeling sad for her, for her experience.
okay, time to take the plunge…

i’ve never known a black female who’s had an eating disorder who hasn’t felt ashamed because of it.
- not uncomfortable.
- not embarrassed.
- not guilty.
