conflict w/ allen west
i’ve been watching a lot of videos in which lieutenant colonel allen west is speaking. i’m not following him on twitter, but i am kind of interested in him. in fact, i like him. i could very well be colored by the fact that i’ve dated so many republicans, or that one of my greatest loves was a military man.

democrat, libertarian, or what?
anyone who knows me in the past ten years or so – one who i’ve discussed politics with – knows that i consider myself a libertarian. in many, many ways, i am a libertarian. that said, i actually consider myself a democratic-leaning libertarian. i was originally a democrat and now i’m not.

so who am i rooting for in the upcoming elections? definitely the democrats. do i support them? in some ways yes, in some ways no. that said, i think the option of republicans in power is going on the line of the death of civilization. ( Read more )
