nyr: throwing away the scale – or – don’t step on it

not me. goodness no, not me! i’ve been divorced (or perhaps legally separated) from scales for years. i don’t own one and the only time i step on one (backwards) is if i’m at the doctor’s office.

however, someone mentioned on a site that i visit that one of her new year’s resolutions was to throw away her scale. in her honor, i wanted to share one of my favorite “no scale” pictures:

“nbc, enough with the diet shows”

it’s my latest piece on huffington post:

i feel a little bad railing on nbc in this piece because it’s probably my favorite network out of the major stations.  nonetheless, their influx of diet shows is not cool, and i finally felt i needed to publicly write about it.  right now, it’s featured on the media section’s homepage.
