anyone who knows me in the past ten years or so – one who i’ve discussed politics with – knows that i consider myself a libertarian. in many, many ways, i am a libertarian. that said, i actually consider myself a democratic-leaning libertarian. i was originally a democrat and now i’m not.
so who am i rooting for in the upcoming elections? definitely the democrats. do i support them? in some ways yes, in some ways no. that said, i think the option of republicans in power is going on the line of the death of civilization. ( Read more )

i hadn’t planned on including a piece that i’d already written. however, i wrote last year’s piece, “what michelle obama can teach us that models can’t” during last year’s fashion week, and a year later, while seeing some pictures from new york fashion week, i feel overly compelled to write an updated version of the same piece.

reverse racism doesn’t exist
do i need to say it again?
reverse racism. does not. exit.
there is racism. period. only racism. anyone can be racist against another person. anyone can be the subject of racism. if a black person is racist (which is often implied when people bring up ‘reverse racism’), it is racism. ( Read more )
