i haven’t written about this here, but it’s not because i’ve not been thinking about it. i’ve thought about it every day since i heard about it. it deeply pains me.
the worst part is that things like this happen often. rarely is it caught on tape and broadcast on the news, but it doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen.

i just spoke to my dad on the phone and he told me two movies he recently watched and really liked. one was notorious.
my dad mentioned that, as notorious was executive produced by diddy/ p. diddy/ puff daddy/ mr.-changes-his-name-more-than-prince, it of course put biggie in a good light and not surprisingly put west coast rappers in a negative light.

polanski issue not right or left
i just saw an article that said, “how polanski could help the right“. all i could think it ‘this really isn’t about left or right. the people who are defending him are people who know him, who work with him, who feel outraged for him. since he is a movie director, his supporters happen to be a lot of people in hollywood.
no “side” has a claim on morality, just like no one has a claim on immorality.
